Commercial Arbitration in China for Overseas Businesses
Commercial arbitration may be the required dispute route when a China-related contract contains an arbitration agreement. Overseas clients need early analysis of the clause, institution, seat, governing law, language, evidence, interim measures, and eventual award enforcement.
1. Arbitration Clause and Case Assessment
We review whether the arbitration agreement covers the dispute, the named institution and rules, the seat and language, applicable law, claim or defense, evidence, limitation issues, and enforcement position.
2. Arbitration Documents and Evidence
We assist with notices, requests for arbitration, defenses, counterclaims, written submissions, evidence organization, witness or expert coordination, and procedural correspondence within the agreed scope.

4. Award Recognition and Enforcement
After an award, additional procedures may be required to pursue assets. We assess the award, debtor and asset location, applicable recognition and enforcement route, required documents, and possible objections.
